· Great for: Painting upholstered pieces, fabric cushions, drop cloth curtains, canvas tote bags, and any fabric with 50% or higher cotton content; coordinating painted wood furniture with soft goods in the same space
· How to use: Mix Fabric Magic 1:1 with Original Plaster Paint or One Step Paint — equal parts medium to equal parts paint. Apply to clean, dry fabric with a stiff brush, working the paint into the fibers. Let it dry completely between coats. For added water resistance, finish with a very thin layer of wax once fully dry.
- Pro tip: The paint will feel slightly stiff when it first dries on fabric — that’s completely normal. After a few washes or some use, it softens up beautifully and becomes flexible.
