WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Here's what you'll need to get started:

Flat brush or foam applicator— for even application of the gel without damaging the paper.

Scissors or craft knife— for trimming or tearing edges for a blended look.

Your painted or prepped surface—whether wood, glass, canvas, or metal —must be clean and dry.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1 — Brush a thin, even coat of Decoupage & Transfer Gel onto the surface where you'll place the paper, ensuring full coverage without pooling.

Step 2 — Lay your tissue paper on the wet gel and gently smooth from the center outward with your fingers or a soft brush, taking care as the wet paper is delicate. Torn edges can blend in nicely.

Step 3 — Once dry, apply another coat of gel on top to secure the design. For added durability and a nice finish, use a topcoat from our Finishing Touches collection (link to: boddesigns.com/collections/redesign-with-prima-finishing-touches).
