· How to use: Apply Crackle over a fully dry base coat of paint. The thicker you apply it, the larger the cracks. Once it dries, apply your top coat of paint — as it dries, it pulls apart to reveal the base color through the cracks. The two colors together create the classic crackle look.
Pro tip: Do a test on a scrap piece first — the thickness of your Crackle layer directly controls the size of the cracks, so it’s worth getting a feel for it before committing to your whole project.
